These are the ideas that were never supposed to be thought out; the writings that were never meant to be written, the books that will certainly never be published.
This is odd prose, strange speculation, and surreal soliloquoy.
This is chaos theory in application, annotated where available. This is serious nonsense, or sensible serendipity. This is how things work... except when they don't.
This is the Nevertown. I'm James Lemoine. Welcome to my head.

April 10, 2008: When a website like this goes without updates for nine months, it means one of three things: either the author has died, he's stopped writing, or he's publishing a book. Happily, in this case, it's the latter. Business Defined is in the latter stages of publication, and it's expected to be available this June. Check the link for more details, or keep checking back here for a preview chapter!
July 9, 2007: After a lack of updates caused by my computer being in the shop yet again (have you read my great article on transitioning to Vista?), we've got two tasty new morsels: Five Tips for More Impressive Interviews in the Tower of Commerce, and Chapter Four of A Wizard's Tale over in the Old Book Store.
June 18, 2007: A major update to the X-Assault section, as I continue to search my hard drive for the other Scooby-Doo chapters....
June 14, 2007: I think I've just about completed all of the annotation updates for the new Internet Explorer - hopefully everything's working now. And I added a handful of Playable Characters to the master list over in the X-Assault section, for those who've been waiting patiently for so long.
By the way, if you are a fan, and if you have a website, we'd consider it a personal favor here at the NeverTown if you'd link back to us... perhaps using the handy banner provided at the top of our Links page?
June 13, 2007: Ah, beloved Microsoft - was about to upload more stuff when I noticed that the annotation feature doesn't quite work correctly with the new Internet Explorer. I've started to implement a fix, but that has pushed back the new updates.
June 10, 2007: Thanks to an enforced upgrade to Microsoft Vista, my access to the Nevertown was eliminated (as was most of my computing ability) and has only just been restored - apologies for the lack of updates. Now that I'm back, check out All my Great Reasons to Upgrade to Vista over in The Gate of Neverthought. And look, Ma - the Nevertown now works on widescreen monitors!
May 6, 2007: A continuing onslaught of e-mails motivates me to continue the X-Assault section update. Today I've uploaded the long-lost Master Assaulter's Checklist for the unreleased X-A v0.96.
April 30, 2007: I've been getting a ton of e-mails lately about X-Assault, which is odd since my old creation has been shut down for almost a couple of years now. Anyway, that motivated me to put some more work into the X-Assault section - specifically, the Heroes section.
March 25, 2007: The Laboratory has finally opened for business, with a new article on fourth-dimensional gravity. Meanwhlie, over in the Old Book Store, the third part of A Wizard's Tale has been posted.
March 24, 2007: Chapter Two of The Leadership Secrets of Scooby-Doo has been added to the Old Book Store. The focus this time is on Daphne Blake, the Great Motivator.
March 23, 2007: The second part of a little short story called A Wizard's Tale is now uploaded over in the Old Book Store.
March 22, 2007: We're back! Lots of good stuff coming soon, kicked off with my Ode to Policy and the slightly-annotated Stupid Product Launch Tricks in The Tower of Commerce, and the first part of a little short story called A Wizard's Tale over in the Old Book Store.
August 19, 2006: X-Assault update in The Gate of Neverthought.
June 26, 2006: Chapter One of The Leadership Secrets of Scooby-Doo in the Old Book Store.
June 25, 2006: Several articles to The Tower of Commerce.
May 21, 2006: Feedback engine implemented.
May 16, 2006: X-Assault section started in The Gate of Neverthought.
May 1, 2006: Katrina essay in The Gate of Neverthought.
Monpoly and McDonald's article in the Tower of Commerce.
The first two introductions to The Leadership Secrets of Scooby-Doo in the Old Book Store.
Annotated "What's A Comic?" in the House of Culture.
The Laboratory still awaits the entrance of the Scientist, who is currently busy adding bionics to poultry.

"When we all become kings,
and the streets run pure gold,
when all our little things,
are all we want to hold,
when the paupers rise up,
never again pushed down,
We shall then raise our cup
to the great Nevertown."
- William Ashbless
